Unlike most software which limits design to logo in background and button colors, the M2 uses a GUI engine which enables EVERY visible aspect of the software to be changed, which means that the software can be square, round, triangle, in any shape, size and color.

Why do i need licensed codecs like the G.729?

Most VOIP gateways like the cisco AS5300 do not support codecs such as GSM, IBLC, Speex (open source free codecs) so G7.xx codecs are needed for these PC-to-Phone applications.
Do i need G.72X codecs for PC-to-PC application?

For PC-to-PC application, the GSM, Speex, Iblc which comes standard on M2 distribution performs very well compared with the G.72x licensed codecs.
G.72X codecs are not needed but if you so chooses, codec licensing cost is needed paid to sipro.com for the patent holder.
